The Morkie is a mix of a purebred Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese. His parent dogs are known for their stable personality and loving characteristics. The Maltese is a caring, sweet, intelligent, responsive, warm, and trusting dog. Morkies are a relatively newer breed of dog that has been around for about thirty years. The Morkie is also known as a Yorktese, Morkies, Yorkshire Terriers, and Maltese Yorkie Mix.
